Savannah- Margaret Irma Syms, 71, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Hospice Savannah.
Irma was born in Savannah, May 30, 1941 to Marice Francis and Ruby Crosby Syms. At times she worked outside of the home; however, she was mainly a homemaker, devoting most of her time to being what her children remember as a "wonderful mother".
Leaving to cherish her memory are her four children, Gail Cowart Travis, Brett Harmon, Chris Harmon Regina, Eric Harmon; five granddaughters, Christy Parker, Heather, Ashley & Erica Cowart, Katie Harmon; one grandson, Eric Harmon, Jr.; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Kary, Sue Burke, Edna Newman, and brothers, Frank Syms and Vernon Syms.
The family will hold a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
MOM I LOVE YOU. YOU WERE ALLWAY THERE FOR ME . I HAVE YOUR FAMILY IN MY HEART AND PRAYS.

Grandma- There are so many memories that I have of you.. and not enough space to share them all. I was blessed with a wonderful grandma and I know that you are watching over me. I love you sooo very much and I miss you even more. I hope you are enjoying heaven grandma!
